Apps covered: This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications published by Stellar Studios (“we,” “our,” or “us”), including current apps such as Multiplication Mayhem, Capitals & States, StellarLingo, Stellar Math, Stellar Pulse, Nova, and Algebra 1 Mastery, as well as any past or future Stellar Studios apps that link to this policy.

1. Introduction

Stellar Studios values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our apps and related websites (including stellarstudios.app). By using any Stellar Studios app that links to this policy, you agree to the practices described here.

Some apps are designed for general audiences; others (such as Multiplication Mayhem) are designed for kids and families. Where an app is intended for children, we take additional steps described below.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information stored on your device

Many of our apps store progress and preferences locally on your device so features work offline. Depending on the app, this may include scores, practice history, settings (such as sound or haptics), onboarding status, and similar gameplay or usage preferences. This information stays on your device unless you delete the app, clear app data, or use an in-app reset option where available.

B. Automatically collected technical information

Some apps may automatically collect limited technical information needed to operate and improve the product, such as:

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system version
  • App version and basic usage/performance events
  • Crash and diagnostic reports

What is collected can vary by app. Kids-focused apps may collect less and may avoid advertising identifiers and third-party marketing analytics.

C. Information you choose to provide

We do not require personal information to use most of our apps. You may choose to provide information when contacting support (for example, an email address and message content) or when using optional account/newsletter features if offered.

D. Purchases and subscriptions

If an app offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Some apps use RevenueCat (or similar purchase infrastructure) to confirm whether a purchase or subscription is active so the app can unlock features.

E. App-specific notes

  • Multiplication Mayhem stores times-tables progress and preferences on device, does not show ads, uses a parental gate before purchases, and uses Apple/RevenueCat for Unlimited Practice entitlement checks.
  • StellarLingo may process language preferences and phrasebook usage, and may use third-party AI services (such as OpenAI) to power translation features you request.
  • Capitals & States may store quiz progress and related gameplay data for app functionality.
  • Stellar Math, Stellar Pulse, Nova, Algebra 1 Mastery, and other Stellar Studios apps may store on-device progress and use Apple purchase processing where paid features are offered.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Operate app features and save progress
  • Improve performance, reliability, and user experience
  • Provide customer support
  • Process and restore in-app purchases or subscriptions
  • Meet legal and App Store requirements

We do not sell personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

Depending on the app, we may use trusted third-party services such as:

  • Apple App Store (payments, subscriptions, distribution)
  • RevenueCat (purchase/subscription entitlement checks, where used)
  • Analytics or crash-reporting tools (only in apps where enabled)
  • Advertising partners (only in apps that show ads)
  • AI providers needed for specific features you use (for example, translation in StellarLingo)

These providers process information under their own privacy policies. Kids-focused apps may intentionally avoid ads and advertising-identifier-based analytics.

5. In-App Purchases

Some Stellar Studios apps offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. Payment information is processed securely by Apple. We do not store your payment card details on our servers. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.

For kids/family apps such as Multiplication Mayhem, purchase screens are shown only after a parental gate so children cannot complete purchases on their own.

6. Cookies and Website Tracking

Our mobile apps generally do not use browser cookies. Our website (stellarstudios.app) may use cookies or similar technologies for basic site operation, security, and (where enabled) analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the apps (for example, Apple or RevenueCat)
  • To comply with law or valid legal process
  • To protect our rights, users, or property
  • In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger), subject to this policy’s protections

8. Your Choices

  • Adjust in-app settings (sound, haptics, resets) where available
  • Delete an app to remove on-device app data
  • Manage App Tracking / personalized ads in iOS Settings where applicable
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings
  • Contact us to ask questions or request support-related data deletion

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Children’s Privacy

Some Stellar Studios apps are intended for children with parent/guardian involvement. For those apps, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing or profiling, we do not ask children for contact details to use core gameplay, and purchases are parent-gated where offered.

For general-audience apps, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for marketing purposes. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. International Users

Our apps may be used internationally. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Apple or our service providers operate.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of our apps or website after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes may also be noted in an app update or on this page.
