Stellar Studios
Educational apps that make learning feel natural
Independent iOS studio building simple, playful apps for students, families, and lifelong learners, so practice feels like play.
GAMES
Synth Sum
Synth Sum started as a question: what if addition practice felt like a rhythm game instead of a worksheet? We built a neon dash where timing, movement, and number sense meet, short sessions kids reopen because the run feels good, not because someone told them to study.
EDUCATION
Math Mayhem
Math practice that feels like a game, all four operations, not just tables. Late-night tutoring sessions where flashcards kept losing to phones became a brief: make math feel like game night. Bright characters, quick rounds, and difficulty that flexes with the player, so families practice together without the dread.
GAMES
Nova
Nova is our daily word puzzle for people who want something social without the noise. One five-letter word a day, streaks that matter with friends, and a retro vault for throwbacks. We designed it to feel calm and cosmic, competitive when you want it, quiet when you don’t.
EDUCATION
Stellar States
Stellar States began as a U.S. capitals quiz for road-trip families. It became a polished geography game with maps, streaks, and modes that scale from curious kids to adults brushing up before a trip. The goal: open the app for five minutes and actually remember something.
HEALTH
Stellar Pulse
Stellar Pulse is the health tracker we wanted for ourselves: water, nutrition, and habits without a dashboard that screams at you. Soft visuals, honest totals, and just enough insight to stay consistent, built for adults who want clarity more than gamified guilt.
PRODUCTIVITY
Sidekick
Planning tonight’s dance class shouldn’t eat the night before you teach. Sidekick grew out of that gap: dance instructors needed a practical colleague for cues, combos, and parent messages, not another generic chatbot. The app stays quiet, specific to the studio floor, and ready between classes.
WHY STELLAR
Simple. Useful. Built for real learning.
Simple by design
Clean interfaces kids and adults can open and understand in seconds: no clutter, no dark patterns.
Practice that sticks
Games, tutors, and trackers that turn repetition into something people actually want to reopen.
Family-aware
Where it matters, we skip ads, gate purchases behind parents, and keep progress on-device.
